About Butterscotch Oak Engineered Hardwood

3/8 in. Butterscotch Oak Engineered Hardwood Flooring 3 in. Wide

50 Year Warranty

Butterscotch oak's naturally versatile blond color will complement any home décor, from rustic to contemporary. The pre-finished planks feature a veneer of genuine oak hardwood, with a smooth finish, fine graining, and an even color. Red oak is the industry standard for hardness, which makes this flooring a good choice for busy living spaces.

Engineered hardwood flooring gives your home all the appeal of traditional hardwood with the added benefit of greater stability. Thanks to the layered construction of its core, engineered hardwood is better able to withstand seasonal fluctuations in temperature and humidity. It's this sturdy core that also means you can install this flooring on any level of your home.

You can enjoy this flooring on any level of your home. While some experienced DIYers might tackle this installation on their own, professional installation using nail, glue, or a combination of the two for this tongue and groove product. Mix up the planks before installation to showcase the natural variation and beauty of the hardwood. We recommend laying it with an approved underlayment over a wood subfloor for sound reduction and overall improved installation quality. And for a concrete subfloor, use a premium moisture mitigating adhesive. Post-installation, maintaining your floor will involve a simple regimen of sweeping or vacuuming (without harsh bristles or beater bars) and semi-annual or annual deep cleaning and spot-checking. With regular maintenance, your new floors will stay beautiful and last for many decades to come.

Remember that lighting makes all the difference! Your flooring, as a result, may look different in your home than it does online. Be sure to order free samples, then try them in your home at different points throughout the day to ensure you like the look!
